CortivaAI - Privacy Policy

The CortivaAI add-on requires you to grant permissions to several services associated with your Google Account. It uses the simple and secure OAuth 2 protocol to get data from the user's Google account and does not have access to your account password.

    • View and manage documents that this application has been installed in: This add on needs to read your document data to view and add the content generated by you using our AI models.
    • Connect to an external service – When you use CortivaAI, it connects to the our AI server to generate the content for you and manage credits.
    • Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications – This is required to show the CortivaAI sidebar in your Google Documents.
  2. CortivaAI – How we use and store your data?
    • Google sign-in will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain personal information with us such as your email address. The information you provide is held in strict confidence. We collect this information to create your user account, send payment receipts and communicate with the user about product updates.
    • The app will not collect your information without your consent; it only collects the minimum amount of information that is necessary to operate the add-on.
    • No humans will read any of your data. If you require technical help, the app may ask you to share your add-on settings with the developer for support.
    • The app will not store your data on non-Google servers. All your settings are stored on Google servers inside the property store of the Google project associated with the addon.
    • The app will not use any of your data for market research, advertising, serving personalized content, retargeting, or recommendations.
    • If your personal information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may delete or deactivate it by uninstalling our Google add-on or by contacting us. We will respond to your request within 5 business days.
    • We use other third parties payment processor, such as PayPal and LemonSqueezy to bill you for services and live chat service to assist you if you have questions while using our website or regarding your order. We neither store nor have access to your credit card details.
    • We also never use your data of your Google Document to train our AI models. We only use it to generate content for your use case.

  3. How we utilize third-party AI platforms to enhance your user experience?
    • We transfer each request you make to our AI partner, OpenAI, via their API. OpenAI has stated that they do not use data submitted through their API for training on their AI models, and that they retain any data sent for 30 days strictly for abuse and misuse monitoring purposes, after which it is deleted.
    • We never store the data of your Google Document. We only use it to generate content for your use case.
    • Type of data used and shared for AI purpose: We only use your authorized current Google Document data for AI purpose to help our users write out the research papers effectively.
  4. How do we protect your information?

    Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible. We use regular malware scanning. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information. All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.
